CDL Training

As of February 7th 2022 new guidelines for Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) went into effect:

To obtain a CDL license the new requirements established by The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) would require a new minimum training standards for individuals applying for a Class A or Class B commerical driver’s license for the first time.

These individuals are subject to Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) rules where they are subject to complete a prescribed program of theory (knowledge) and behind the wheel (BTW) instructions that is provided by an entity listed on FMCSA’s Training Provider Registry.

Drive-Rite has been approved to be a Training Provider for behind the wheel (BTW) and range training only. We do not do the eldt theory classroom.

All students need to have taken the eldt classroom, a valid DOT physical card and a valid DOT learner’s permit before starting your lessona.

$225.00 for every 2 hour behind the wheel lesson

$250.00 for MVA testing class “A” only
